legacies our ancestors left us,
and recipes our neighbors share with us.

A beautiful celebration of the women who made us - from Three Village to the far corners of the globe! An afternoon tea party at the Stony Brook School where we can swap stories, savor snacks, and sit with one another through love, laughter, and tears.
4 ways this event is special
Storytelling: A unique opportunity to present a Revolutionary Woman in 3 minutes or less. She could be someone from your family, from your community, or from your lineage. Tell us what made her revolutionary in her own time.
Pot Luck: Bring a dish inspired by your Revolutionary Woman, your heritage, or your story. The food we prepare and share with one another will be the highlight of our tea service!
Creation of a Community Cook Book: Want to preserve your recipe for all time? Have your dish photographed at the event and we'll include it in our Revolutionary Women cook book - coming this Fall!
A Revolutionary Spirit: Did your woman live, work, raise a family, or die in Three Village? Nominate her to be included in our 30th Spirits Tour! This October, we celebrate 3 decades of Spirits Tours at the Three Village Historical Society. We'll be including stories from the Revolutionary Women (and the people who loved them!)
*Please note: Your person must be deceased to be considered a Spirit. They may be buried in Three Village or elsewhere.*
You are welcome to bring a dish, share a story, nominate a spirit... or none of the above! Just want to gather around with your neighbors & friends to hear true tales from history? Enjoy a cup of tea and the closeness of community? You are welcome here!
Part of the proceeds from this event will go towards scholarships for young women in Three Village! Inspiring another generation of Revolutionary Women!
